Yellow Series — for use with CTS-100 and CTS-125 Cartridge Tanks |
These cartridges are combination filters with a polypropylene string outer layer and a meltblown polypropylene core. The dual media construction provides a cost effective, extended service life product capable of capturing a broad range of particulates, with high service flow rates greater than 30 gpm with less than 15 Delta P. The outer pre-filter is manufactured using 100% polypropylene yarn wound in a precise pattern to capture larger particles (fine sediment, sand, silt, rust, scale), thus extending the service life of the inner filter. The meltblown inner filter is manufactured using thermally bonded polypropylene fibers offering minimal pressure drop and consistent downstream flow without fiber migration. These cartridges provide 2x the surface area and 3x the media content of a standard 4.5 x 20 wound cartridge. |
Typical Applications: Potable water, food/beverage, RO pre-filtration, fine chemicals, electronics, metal finishing, plating solutions, oxidizing agents, corrosive fluids, gases, concentrated acids and alkali. |
Certifications: All components and materials are made with FDA approved materials, and manufactured from NSF components. |

VIEW MORE INFORMATION |
These cartridges are constructed of dual gradient, double pleated layers for extended life and use while achieving high flow and low pressure drop. They will outperform competitive filtration solutions in all turbidity applications including silt, rust, and other particle filtration. They also provide lower shear water velocity as the raw water passes through the filter, allowing for more contact time and interaction with the extensive surface area of the cartridge. These cartridges provide 6.5x the total surface area of a standard 4.5 x 20 pleated cartridge and nearly 14.5x that of a standard 2.5 x 20 cartridge. This results in higher water quality and longer life of the filtration system. |
Typical Applications: Food service, RO pre-filtration, make-up water, rental fleets, cooling towers, chill water loops, metal finishing, process water (turbidity, particulate, colloidal suspensions).
|
Certifications: All components and materials are made with FDA approved materials, are manufactured from NSF 61 Certified coconut shell carbon, and are California Prop 65 compliant. |

VIEW MORE INFORMATION |
These cartridges are constructed of electropositively charged dual gradient, double pleated layers for extended life and use. They feature a thermally bonded blend of micro-glass fibers and cellulose, infused with nanoalumina fibers in a non-woven matrix that creates an electropositively charged depth filter media. When assembled into a pleated cartridge, it offers a unique combination of efficiency, capacity, flow rate, and low pressure drop at levels unmatched in today's filtration marketplace. In addition, all filter cartridges feature the use of Agion® antimicrobial technology that provides built-in protection by working 24/7 resisting the growth of microbes. The filters will remove contaminants down to 0.2 micron and will outperform competitive filtration solutions in all turbidity applications including insoluble scale, Fe3, bacterial iron slime, colloidal solids, silt, rust, and other particle filtration, resulting in higher water quality and longer life of the filtration system. |
Typical Applications: Primary filtration in lieu of microporous membranes, make up water (particulate, microbial control), polishing filters (carbon fines, emulsified oil removal), RO pre-filtration (SDI reduction), process water (turbidity, particulate, colloidal suspensions), waste water (biologicals, proteins, dyes), cooling towers, and chill water loops (iron removal). |

These carbon block filters are made using high performance coconut shell carbon coupled with a unique binder system for superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics. The chloramine block cartridges use a proprietary media with an enormous number of catalytically active nitrogen groups for highly efficient reduction of chloramines. This enhanced catalytic functionality has FIVE times more capacity for chloramines reduction than standard carbon blocks. These cartridges deliver exceptionally low pressure drop, high dirt holding capacity, and excellent contaminant reductions. |
Typical Applications: They are ideal for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial, and industrial applications, and are effective at reducing unwanted bad taste and odor, along with chlorine taste and odor from potable drinking water. The filters are ideal as polishing or pre-filters in applications requiring fine filtration and high capacity. |
Certifications: All components and materials are made with FDA approved materials, are manufactured from NSF 61 Certified coconut shell carbon, and are California Prop 65 compliant.
CTS1-LCB-05 is NSF 53 Certified when installed in the CTS-100-M53 Metered Cartridge Tank. |

White Series — for use with CTS-100 and CTS-125 Cartridge Tanks |
These unique, high capacity cartridges are 0.5 cu.ft. empty polypropylene containers to be filled with granular filtration media for multiple filtration options and solutions. The design incorporates SWT's Cyclonic Distributor System (CDS) for uniform distribution and utilization of the media bed along with maximum efficiencies and service flow rates. They are available in a CDS mid-plate configuration that splits the cartridge chambers equally, 0.25 cu.ft. per chamber, for separation and use of different medias. A removable top cap has a locking feature that can be used for limiting end-user access to the internal medias, and special "hanging" rings on the bottom allow for easy media change-outs in applications such as service DI exchange. |
Typical Applications: This filter series is ideal for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial, and industrial applications, and can be used for multiple applications from service DI, POE for city or well-water installations, rental programs, exchange systems, high-purity pre- or post-filtration applications, etc. |
