MetalEase-AS is capable of removing high levels of iron, hydrogen sulfide, and other metals such as lead, copper, arsenic, and manganese. The media first brings the metals out of solution into a solid form and then adheres the particle in the MetalEase-AS media bed.
MetalEase-AS is designed to be used in place of traditional forms of iron treatment and can be installed on either well or municipal water supplies. It is used in cartridge form and as a backwashable media bed. It can be used as a stand-alone unit or as the perfect companion to softeners, RO systems, carbon filters, etc.
MetalEase-AS is capable of removing contaminants, but tends to work better in some geographic areas than others, depending on the levels of TDS or heme iron (organics) in the local water supplies. |
